Putting equine bodywork in your hands
Acupressure is a safe and effective way to participate in your horses health, internally and externally. It works off their pressure points (same as we have) and can influence the flow of blood, digestive health, pain relief, immune system boosting, etc. This is a noninvasive, yet very powerful way to get and keep your horse healthy. Acupressure derives from Traditional Chinese Medicine, and we are bringing this power to your hands! This gentle therapy allows for the best and healthiest experience possible for your equine partner.
Jodi Brassard is an All Around Horse Trainer from Austin, Texas. She credits her mother for introducing her to horses at a young age, and has been riding ever since. In the past 25 years, Jodi has been training, showing, and giving lessons in her busy practice, Brassard Equine Services, LLC. She is also the hostess and co- instructor for Elemental Acupressure's onsite courses in Georgetown, TX, and the founding Wellness Ambassador for Equine CBD with TOML, USA.
Jodi was looking to add to the relationship and well-being of her equine clients when she discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2016. Adding acupressure to her training program has been hugely rewarding. She says that acupressure is the answer to “Getting and keeping your horse sound”. In the course of working with clients’ horses she sees that most horses get injured when they’re not ready for the heavy work of their training program. Acupressure offers a safe and effective way to keep equine friends healthy while maintaining their ability to perform.
Jodi loves trail riding and working cattle with her horses, Koqui, and rescue horse, Keeva, (although Jodi will say it was KEEVA who adopted HER). Jodi regularly travels to present clinics in training, riding, acupressure, and even Chinese Fire Cupping. They are often accompanied by her energetic dogs, Luna and Cooper.

My 20 yo OTTB mare regularly falls asleep during her session. I accredit Jodi’s treatments for helping to keep her healthy, moving great (my mare has cushings but you would never know it) Bree is in the aging gracefully program. Jodi always tells me what she is focusing on each treatment and what the pressure points mean for each season and how it relates to health and performance.

I have been bringing my horses to Jodi for almost two years now. The horses always come out relaxed and feeling great. So do I! The information she gives you based on what she does is amazing as well as confirming the the issues you are already having. She provide great feedback from the horses and shes helped narrow down problem areas on my horses for the vet to help diagnose and treat. She treats your horses how you want them treated. Hands down one of the best things I have done for my horses!
I have used Jodi for multiple horses since 2017. She explains everything she is doing (what organ that pressure point supports, why we focus on that pressure point at different times of the year, what she's noticing in the horse, etc.).
She never rushes and really goes at the pace of the horse she's working on.
